Common Questions
Q: Will my insurance cover my clean up costs?
A: While all insurance policies have different levels of coverage we commonly work with insurance companies and find many policies do have coverage. We'll work directly with you and your insurance company to determine your coverage options.
Q: Is exposure to mold dangerous?
A: Mold growth can not only lead to structural damages, but can also adversely affect your health. Mold spores can travel through the air and can potentially be toxic to breathe. Mold allergies can also be a common problem.
Q: Are all mold types that grow in a home toxic?
A: Not all mold types are toxic, but a test must be done to determine the exact type of mold you're dealing with. If you're experiencing fatigue, nausea, eye irritations, or respiratory problems remove yourself from the area immediately and call us to start the removal process.
Q: Where does mold grow?
A: Mold spores need three things to grow: oxygen, a cellulose food source, and insulation. Due to the high levels of humidity in South Florida, mold is an extremely common problem here. Wherever there is moisture mold can grow on wood, ceilings, wallpaper, paint, carpet, sheet rock, drywall, and insulation.
